Restauratie van het studieklavier van de Sydney University.
Restauration practice keyboard Sydney University
In July 2025, I was invited by the University of Sydney. They wanted to replace the old practice keyboard (John Taylor 1968) with a new Clavion based on the old American scale. After extensive research and intensive consultation, it was decided to ship the existing practice keyboard to the Netherlands. It was completely overhauled and digitized in my studio.
The keyboard, in mint condition, was shipped to Sydney just before Christmas.I hope that the instrument will invite many students and carillonneurs to practice intensively on this special instrument and that it will contribute to the development of carillon playing in Australia.
